Sandy Water Park is a large and attractive area of  lake and parkland in south-west Llanelli.                                      The area shares its name with a housing development  of 147 dwellings which flank the lake's northern edge.

Sandy Water Park is an integral and very popular part of Llanelli's Millennium Coastal Park, where many visitors enjoy walking, running and cycling the lake perimeter path or a stroll through the Mabinogion wood.                       There is a many and varied wildlife which frequent the park, such as: swans, moorhens, ducks, cormorants, herons and the occasional otter!

** Please be aware that the sport of Fishing is no longer allowed at Sandy Water Park.
